On October 2, Guardian of Minnesota will be co-hosting a training session focused on drug diversion prevention in institutional settings. Two courses will be held – the first at Oak Crossing Care Center in Detroit Lakes from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the second in Fergus Falls at the Light & Life Auditorium from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Ed Cartwright will be the presenter for both of these sessions and will focus on diversion of controlled substances and medications of high value. He will discuss how to prevent and develop policies against drug diversion and how to identify internal theft of medications.
