On September 24, Guardian of Minnesota held its third annual legislative roundtable, bringing together 50 long-term care facility/housing leaders and 12 state senators and representatives.
This year’s discussion focused on topics such as reimbursement and staffing at facilities. As many of the attendees stated, the main goal of a long-term care facility is to provide quality care for residents, which can be difficult when facilities are understaffed.
As in previous years, the discussion was eye-opening and educating for both parties. We enjoy hosting this event each year and hope to continue with the roundtable in the future.
