On March 10, Guardian Minnesota is sponsoring ARRM’s Day at the Capitol in St. Paul, Minnesota. ARRM is a nonprofit organization composed of providers, businesses and advocates who are dedicated to improving services that support people living with disabilities.
The event will serve as a rally to garner a 5 percent rate increase for 2015 and 2016, which would aid in wage increases for caregivers and provide additional support for older adults and people with disabilities. Attendees are encouraged to spend the day meeting with legislators and sharing their stories about the difficulties they face working in home and community-based facilities.
Guardian Minnesota is privileged to sponsor this event, as it is an important step in getting these facilities the support they need to provide the best possible care to residents.
